Let’s go back to the 2019 edition of the Campbeltown festival and Feis ile by trying those 4 bottlings. Let’s forget those actual strange times we are living and remember how those days were « back in the day »! (I’m feeling old just by writing this, trust me)

I write a lot about Hampden’s but what about Long Pond? There are way less Long Pond bottlings comparatively and honestly I never get blown by them except some like this Cadenhead’s.

Here are two bottles that I wanted to try for a long time given all the good feedbacks some friends gave me, so today we managed to both of their Springbank bottlings!
Samaroli Barbados 1986-2006 (45%)
Barbados, 1986, hmmm, what are you thinking about? We can read West Indies Rum Refinery on that colourful label and that’s the reason why I picked that sample today! I’ll review some W.I.R.D in the next weeks and I consider this one as a warm-up.
