At first, I just chose two young Bunnahabhains to test but I couldn’t resist to the call of that ’75 one!

Port Charlotte 16yo 2001-2017 (59.7%, Archives)
Port Charlotte 2001-2013 (59.2%, Malts of Scotland)
Bruichladdich 19 yo 2988-2007 (58.5%, OB)
Here is the second part of my tasting dedicated to making me forget about wine cask Bruichladdich/PC. For the moment, it works pretty well, let’s see if continues that way.

Port Charlotte 14yo 2004-2019 (53.4%, Dramfool)
Port Charlotte 12yo 2003-2016 (65.9%, SMWS)
Port Charlotte 11 yo 2002-2013 (54.7%, Maltbarn)
The last time I reviewed some Bruichladdich/PC bottles it didn’t finished that well, so today I’ll give them another round without any wine cask around!

Bruichladdich 22yo 1992-2014 (50.7%, OB)
Bruichladdich 8yo 2009-2018 (63.6%,S. Eldvatten)
Port Charlotte 6yo 2007-2014 (62.9%, OB « Palaemon »)
Port Charlotte 14yo 2004-2018 (58.9%, Pvt. bottling)
When the moment came to choose what to test today, I felt brave and decided to grab two samples I tried to hide for a long time. I’m really not a fan of wine cask maturation in most cases (to say the least!) but when I started in the whisky world I didn’t knew about it. So let’s be brave and try those!

Ballechin 12yo 2004-2016 (53.7%, OB)
Ballechin 16yo 2003-2019 (58.9%, Signatory Vintage)
Ballechin are the heavily peated distillate from Edradour distillery. A good friend makes me test those bottles that he particularly enjoys as daily drams. I hope I’ll love those too!

Clynelish 25 yo 1993-2018 (47.7%, SMWS)
Clynelish 19 yo 1995-2014 (52.7%, Whisky-Fässle)
Clynelish 1995-2018 (53.6%, Signatory V. for LMDW)
Today I’m trying multiple Clynelish bottlings from the 90’s and I’m pretty sure we are going to have some fun!

Littlemill 21 yo 1989-2010 (57.4%, The Stillman’s)
Littlemill 27 yo 1992-2019 (49.8%, Cadenhead)
Today I have two Littlemills waiting to be tested. I really like the Littlemill profile and usually the 90’s ones are a safe bet !

Waterford 2016-2020 « Ballykilcavan 1.1 » (50%, OB)
Waterford 2016-2020 « Bannow Island 1.1 » (50%, OB)
Waterford 2016/2020 « Ratheadon 1.1 » (50%, OB)
Today I’ll have a special tasting session. Those 3 bottles generated a lot of hype in the community. The bottles that everyone suddenly wants! Let’s try those.

Ledaig 10yo 2004-2015 (62.3%, Signatory Vintage)
Ledaig 12yo 2008-2020 (55.9%, Archives)
Sometimes you need to relax and enjoy some good and easy young peated whisky while listening to music, or enjoy some times with friends. So let’s try some from the 2000s and see what happens.

Tormore 24yo 1995-2019 (45.4%, Le Gus’t)
This one is quite unexpected as Tormore is not really a super famous distillery, but we found a big pearl with a horn, trust me !
